Hello Everyone
Just joined the forum
I have a cargo 0813 (1990 Model) ex Green flag recovery so long bed and 8 seat cab with approximately 90k miles on it.
Doing some welding under the cab currently and then recommissioning (Only had it 4 years :-) )
I have a couple of questions if you don't mind.
I am thinking of using this to cart our track car around so not for hire or reward.
The airline oolive that goes into the rear brake actuator chamber has perished and the plastic pipe fallen off. Are these readily available from factors?
The clutch is extremely heavy. Is the shaft able to be lubricated or is it box off to do?
I also need to get a new water coolant pipe (along chassis). Are these readily available?
Finally, Is it worth doing? What is the value for an 0813 Cargo these days with 21ft bed, lights, extended cab etc?
Thank you kindly Ray :-)

I second eBay and Phillips commercials (who have an eBay shop). Parts are getting harder to find but I've been able to get everything from oil filters to reconditioned rear brake calipers between them.
I have a 1989 0813 and I used to drive Army 4t Bedfords and Dafs. In my experience clutches on these old trucks always require a fair bit of boot, especially if you are used to cars.
Good luck, these are great trucks.

Welcome along Ray. My clutch is heavy as well, gives me the jelly leg every time I drive it Re the parts you need, I'd trawl fleabay before going to Phillips. They seem to be quite expensive in my opinion! I found a place for electrical stuff, maybe you know of it already but I had a recent solenoid trauma and found them waay cheaper than the alternative. www.jcrsupplies.co.uk/Rob.
