I Just found and joined this forum. I'm located in the northern parts of Sweden and became a Cargo owner last week. A 1985 0913 with flatbed and a HIAB 030 crane. Also equipped with a Webasto fuel heater (not tried yet). About 180000km on it. Mecanics seems good condition, but breaks hard (drums) This Cargo has lived most of its life in the far north of Sweden, a town by the name of Kiruna, above the arctic circle, so it has very little rust on it (they never use salt on the roads up there). The Cargo is not a common vehicle in Sweden. Ads on cargos are 1 in a 1000 Scania or Volvo at the most.

Welcome to the Cargo Forum, Your Cargo looks to be in very nice condition, the mechanicals on most Cargo's are pretty bulletproof when correctly serviced, the cabs are a different matter lol as you quite rightly state the salt on the roads in GB destroy them if they are not well cared for, hope you have many years of enjoyment in your new purchase and hope you get some good advise from the members on here.
Kind Regards
Alf
