Hi everyone. After looking at the Ford Cargo wiki page I feel it does not do the Cargo justice by going into detail (no offence to anyone involved in it). What I am doing is writing about all versions of the Cargo, from small 08's upto the 38's. It will include detail on engines, gearboxes, specials etc. This is where we need your help. I am looking for pictures of your truck, and also pictures of its engine, and top of gearlever (please tell me what engine it is, and what box if you supply those pics). These pictures will be used to illustrate the sections. I am also after general pictures of Cargos that can be used on the page. All pictures will be duly credited. If you want to help, please e-mail us at the clubs e-mail. Thanks

There is another issue with the wiki page. It states that the 7.49 ton Cargo did not require an HGV license in the U.K. This is not true. Any vehicle between 3.5 and 7.5 tons require a Cat C1 (old HGV 3). Anything over 7.5 tons requires Cat C (HGV 2) or CE (HGV 1) for towing e.g. draw bar trailers and articulated. The confusion arises because until 1997 you were given that category on you license when you passed your car (cat B) test. Cat B only allows you to drive up to 3.5 tons. You also had D1 (minibus) as well as cat f, k, l, n and p. I passed my car test in '93 so can drive up to 7.5 tons but it's the cat C1 that allows it, not cat B. my wife passed her test in 1998, only got Cat B so cannot drive my Cargo. As an aside I passed my C and CE in 1997. If you pass your C test and you don't have it already you will automatically get C1 on your license as well and if you pass CE you automatically get C1E.

I have removed the incorrect statement from the page.
