Hi alf, well done, i am getting my cargo back next week its all done on the fitting side, i have pictures from mate but they are to big to post on here (so andy if you read this i have put the pictures on face book) so when i get it back i have to take all the door panels out of the old cab seats bed roof lining, and when that is all done, replace the power steering pipes as there is a small leak adjust rear brakes and you never know get it for an mot this side of xmas.

Hi all, right how hard is it to remove the wheel arches and fit new ones ? or to cut them out ones and roll them to make them fit for a 7.5 ton as the ones fitted are from a 14ton cab so where wider for the wider wheel set
Thanks anybody

Hi Again, If you are talking about the wings!! Its pretty easy to remove them, they are bolt on, unless someone has welded them on like they did with mine, just undo all the bolts not forgeting the ones on the steps, then it will just lift off, I have fitted the wider type onto my 7.5ton Cargo all you do is alter the bolt holes to suit, I did,nt like the original small wings so I fitted mine further out and they look far better. If its the inner wheel arches you are talking about they are called Rocker panels and they are the same on all Cargos, the new ones can be fitted over the top of the originals making an easier and tidier job. Hi Alf, i have the truck back, i will put a film of it on youtube of taking it back to hull.
The wings are the large type fitted on the 13 ton up, to make it wider for the 8 stud wheels, i think i might have ago at re drilling the holes and fit it them back on just further in or i might see about getting some new wings make from a local firm that make body kits out of fibre glass, i am not getting them from that philips commercials at £75 each, i have the old wings so getting some made wont be hard.
