Has anyone had experience with the Ford Cargo 2417 brakes? From what I can tell, they're activated by the build-up of air. When there's no air in the system, you can drive the truck away, and the brakes & Park brake are only activated once there's enough air in the system.
This is a bit of a worry and won't pass roadworthy for the trick. Is this the way the normal Ford Cargo 2417 works?
Has anyone converted them/found a way to have them locking on when air is lost?
Just dangerous to have it rolling away with no brakes!

Parking brake SHOULD be locked on when there is no air. Have you checked the 2 actuators by the rear axle??? The pins seize and stop the units from working.
