I have a 0809 cargo with the 4 pot engine, it really struggles up long hills, can I replace the engine with one of the newer 6 pot ones?
Thanks in advance

It can be done, but it's a big job. Obviously you would need the engine mounts, exhaust and all the cables and pipes/hoses. I would look for a rotten donor.

BTW what body have you got? Our N/A Dover motors along fine, not being governed helps she's a 5 speed too. Maybe look for a normal Dover and 5 speed?

I have the 1013 with a six cogger and it's the same, even without the horses it's very lazy. Not sure I'd want to go as far as fitting a new engine but if anyone knows how to improve them, I'm listening!
