So it would seem that 10R 17.5 is an odd size tyre and no one in the universe has a good used one. Anyone know what I could change them with??

8.5 I have a full set if you want them, but obviously they are very heavy!

Thanks Fred! Would I have to change the rims as well?

No, they are on 0813 rims already. They are also a more common tyre size so replacing one would be easier.

Ah I missed that vital piece of information! You will have bigger wheels, so sadly I doubt it.

This is my problem Fred. I need to look at changing the wheels for something a little easier to find tyres for. I found new ones for £500 each, no used ones at all!

Just picked two up from a scrap yard I never knew existed! £40 each with (knackered) rims. The guy was very helpful, said I should be swapping out to 225's which are much easier to get hold of (apparently)
I also nearly bought his horse. But that's another story!

Well you do have the transport for the horse! Good news about the tyres.

Did I mention the horse lives at the scrap yard? Lol! Going back again today to hopefully strip a door down, see if I can remove the rail from the bottom of the drivers side window. Wish me luck!

Your best bet is to buy the window. If the cargo is anything like the transit of the same era, it will be nearly impossible to get the track off it without doing some damage. If you had a broken window, you then have to tap it back onto a glass. Not too much fun if I'm honest....

I thought about that Fred, just couldn't see how you could get the glass out with it still on. I haven't been back yet so ill have a look at mine later, have a practice run on it!

Ok, so I go back to the yard for a window and come home with a complete door! Good news is, I managed to get the glass out intact, bad news is it's a right pig of a job! Had to strip the entire door out to get at it! Haven't fitted it yet, weather has been pants here for the last couple of days...

Good news indeed! Was the door any good or was the window the best bit
