Can you not get at no 6 injector pipe? if you can then just loosen the pipe and crank until it bleeds. if not you could try pressurising the fuel tank up to about 20psi then keep cranking it should eventually go, failing that could you not get at an injector pipe via the rubber gearstick gaitor try pushing it down and you may be able to get it down enough to get at the pipes, another crude way would be to spray some easystart into the air intake which should make it run faster than cranking and it should bleed itself.

HTH Alf The idea of not being able to properly service or maintain a truck/lorry/vehicle (delete as applicable) because 'the cab no longer tilts' scares me to death to be perfectly honest.....

I feel the same Stuart! Horseboxes usually have a trapdoor in the floor to aid access to the engine, sadly it seems the one in question hasn't got any access to the engine at all, just wonder how its been serviced?. I wonder how he would have managed if he suffered the same problem I did last weekend, the throttle cable snapped and I had to tie a bit of string through the gearstick gaitor to get home some 15mls, if the cab hadn't be able to tilt I would have been well and truly in the sh1t.

Sounds like typical Cargo stuff Alfie! It just wouldn't be the same though would it, without little incidents like that. I wonder though how 'aware' some of these 'conversion experts' are when they create horseboxes and motorhomes with Luton bodies that prevent the cab tilting. That's just storing major trouble that will all happen at once..
